Turner's Greenhouse History:
Our offerings have really evolved and grown since the farm market's inception. When the market was but a small roadside stand, our co-founder Lulu Turner caught folks' eyes with her "Lulu's Morning Glories" (Btw, we still grow these today!) This was a small floral offering amongst the fruit and vegetable heavy operation.
Fast forward to the operation that Lulu's granddaughter, Tara, runs today: a large variety of Ross's field tested vegetable transplants, herbs, native & non-native perennials, and diverse selection of annuals. Check out our over 150 different combinations of annual hanging baskets and plants for sun and shade. The spring greenhouse season is extended further by Thriver perennials that are flowering and ready to perform immediately. Perennials are available until we close at the end of October. We also grow cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini, and tomatoes (over 15 different varieties include French Heritage and Artisan) in our hoop houses.
