Perennial Grasses
Perennial grasses are being used in the landscape as well as
combination planters. In addition, native warm season grasses are
excellent choices for erosion control or ecological restoration.
Additional Information on Ecological Restoration
Grasses start to grow dependent on temperature. Cool season grasses
start to grow in early spring and also may during winter. They also
do better when temperatures are cool and if given sufficient water.
Warm season grasses wait until the soil becomes warm and
temperatures are stable.

Warm Season: Maiden Grass, Little Zebra, Big Bluestem, Little
Bluestem, Switch Grass, Flame Grass
