"Weekends on the Farm?!"

We are excited to build community and hang out on the farm! On select Saturdays from 10am-4pm from May through October we will have a variety of family friendly activities at the farm- most of which is free.
​Many of the activities are running on Sundays also!

​WHAT ARE
"WEEKENDS ON THE FARM?"

In recent years, we have been emphatic about making Turners more and more of a community market. In the last two years alone, we have added close to 150 new local products from over 70 new local farmers and producers! This season, we have added new shelving and display units to carry even more local produce and products. We've found the more we work with community the richer our experience at the farm becomes as we grow together!

And while we LOVE showcasing more and more of what you grow and make, we have been longing to have more occasions for folks to not only engage with what is locally grown and made, but also an occasion to grow with YOU and your talents directly! With this aspiration in our hearts, we are excited to announce: "WEEKENDS on the Farm!"

On some Spring and Summer Saturdays, and EVERY Saturday/Sunday in the Fall, we are opening our grounds in front of the market to community members excited to share themselves and their food, art, music, crafts, information, knowledge and activities for a weekly family friendly hang and time to talk!

1) PLEASE SUPPORT the community by bringing family & friends!
Grab lunch, visit the market and take a stroll and talk with the other local folks who will be set up at Turners each Sat. We'll announce in our newsletter & online the lineup of activities going on each Saturday.

2) PLEASE BRING your talents!
We would love for you to set up shop, demonstrate a skill, organize a game, run a class, fundraise, set up an informational booth or entertain at one of these Saturdays!

We would love to share YOU with the busy crowd of customers
​who come every Saturday to Turners.

For folks interested in selling something on Saturdays, we simply ask that if you have a good day that you make a donation to the nature preserve we have begun working on this year (more details on this soon!)
Otherwise, this season we aren't asking for anything to sell in front of Turners.
If you are an established musician, we do have a budget to have you play at Turners!
We hope that we also see people set up chess tournaments, drum circles for kids, a demonstration on raising honey bees, an informational table on an organization you are a part of and want to
​spread the word.
We are extremely open minded to what could happen on the farm each Saturday!
