Melon Tips

Picking Melons

Melons have 4 color stages: green, yellow (ripe, edible), golden (best for eating), and brown (over-ripe). Melons are ripe when the stem pops right off without effort.

Storing Melons

If you are storing at room temperature, you should eat your melon in 1-2 days; however, they can be kept in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
