Fried Apples and Onions

6 medium onions, sliced
2 Tbl spoons butter
6 apples peeled and sliced
2 Tbl spoons brown sugar
Put onions in large pan w/ butter and cook over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until wilted. Add apples and brown sugar and cook for approximately 15 minutes, stirring often until apples are tender. This recipe can be used as a garnish, side dish or main vegetable.
Taffy Apple Pizza

Crust:
1 c butter
2 c flour
1/2 c powdered sugar
Melt butter, add flour & sugar. Mix with fork until it holds together. Spread into 14" pan-greased heavily with butter. Bake at 325 for 15-18 minutes or until slightly browned. Cool completely.
Topping
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c creamy peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2-3 Granny Smith apples aliced thin (put in 7-up to prevent browning)
1/4 c caramel ice cream topping
1/2 c peanuts, chopped
Combine all ingredients, cream chees through cinnamon. Mix well. Spread on top of crust. Arrange apples over cream cheese mixture. Heat caramel topping in microwave 30 seconds and drizzle over apples. Top all with peanuts.
